# Devices

> Compare QPUs and simulators by queue, quality and price, and get a ready-to-run snippet

export const Shot = ({name, alt}) => <Frame>
    <img className="block dark:hidden" src={`/images/dashboard/${name}.png`} alt={alt} />
    <img className="hidden dark:block" src={`/images/dashboard/${name}-dark.png`} alt={alt} />
  </Frame>;

**Devices** lists every QPU and simulator you can run on through Haiqu, across providers.

<Shot name="devices" alt="Devices list" />

| Column | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Provider** / **Type** | Hardware vendor, and whether the device is a QPU or a simulator |
| **Qubits** | Number of qubits on the device |
| **Status** / **Queue** | Whether the device is available, and how many jobs are waiting |
| **Quality** | Median 2-qubit gate error for QPUs (lower is better). For simulators, the noise model and qubit count |
| **Price** | The provider's price per task and per shot, where available. You pay it to the provider; it is separate from your [Haiqu credits](/dashboard/account#credits) |
| **Load (7 days)** | Queue depth over the last week |

## Device details

Click a device to see its calibration summary: **Qubits**, **Queue Depth**, **2Q Error (Med)**, **Readout Error**, **T1**, **T2** and **Pricing**. The page has three tabs.

**Overview** shows:

* the device's basis gates, maximum qubits and **Quantum Volume**: 2n means the device reliably runs random circuits n qubits wide and n layers deep (higher is better)
* the 7-day queue depth
* recommended uses

**Pricing** shows the pricing model, the cost per shot for common shot counts, and a **Cost Estimator**. Move the **Shots**, **Total Gates** and **Number of Circuits** sliders to estimate the cost of a run. These are the provider's charges, not Haiqu credits.

<Shot name="device-pricing" alt="Device pricing and cost estimator" />

**Getting Started** gives a Bell-state example with this device's ID already filled in. Click **Copy**, add your API key (and your provider credentials, where the snippet asks for them), and run it.

<Tip>
  In the SDK, pick a device with `haiqu.get_device("<device id>")` and pass it to `haiqu.run`. See [Integrations](/integrations/ibm) for provider credentials.
